MEMPHIS, TN - March, 28, 2012 2002 Arab High School graduate and Arab Musical Theatre alumni Holli Isom Kenney was honored during the ceremonies. She currently serves as the Director of Development for the historic theatre. Kenney, was recognized with an Orpheus Award for outstanding leadership, noting her successful management of four major events within a short period of time. These events included the 2011 Annual Ken Sossaman Memorial Golf Tournament, the 2011 Annual Orpheum Auction, the Gala for the world premiere of the National Tour of MEMPHIS, the Musical as well as the welcome party for the cast and crew of MEMPHIS. The Orpheus Awards are presented annually to employees who represent the Theatre’s mission to foster the enjoyment and understanding of the arts in Memphis as well as the economic prosperity of Downtown and surrounding areas. Cast in bronze, the award itself is designed and sculpted specifically for the occasion by the Ornamental Metal Museum. “Our team at The Theatre is being recognized for going above and beyond what’s expected of them,” said Pat Halloran, Orpheum President and CEO. “I thank them for their service and congratulate them on this honor.” Kenney is the daughter of Rodney and Suzanne Hyatt and Barry and Beth Isom (all of Arab).
