Law enforcement officers from several agencies converged on this Mount Hebron Community home early Tuesday morning where they discovered an active meth lab. Photo special to Arab Today June 6, 2012 The operation was the result of a joint investigation with Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Owens Cross Roads Police, and Alabama Pardons and Paroles after receiving tips from the public. Sheriff Scott Walls said, "We frequently investigate drug and theft related crimes, where the investigation carries across the County Line, and we appreciate the close working relationship with those Madison County agencies. The communities that border the county line have been subject to numerous complaints, and we will continue to work together to solve these problems and make those areas safe." Arrested were: Randy Bearden, 47, 355 Porch Hollow Road, Grant, Alabama Albert Wayne Moon, 32, 6609 Cannon Avenue, Guntersville, Alabama This investigation is ongoing, and more charges could be forthcoming as the investigation progresses.
