The Junior Beta Clubs from Arab Junior High School and Arab High School are on a roll. They just returned from the National Junior Beta Club Convention held in Orlando, FL. This years theme was "Lights! Camera! Beta! Scene 75". Some were 4,673 Junior Betas in attendance.
.
Arab had two Junior Teams in the top 4 in the nation. Individuals winning trophies were: Amber Roberts, AJHS-8th grade who received a certificate in sketching and Hannah Gilbertson, AHS-9th, who received a certificate in wreath competition. These members, Caroline Hestley, AHS-9th, Haley Gilbertson, AJHS-6th,and parents provided tremendous support for our quiz bowl teams.

The AJHS-8th team of Skyler Graham, Amber Roberts, Luke Franklin, Brandon England, and Scott Taylor was 4th in the NATION (400,000+ members). The AHS-9th team of Wes Taylor, Lucas Green, Aaron Fregeau, and Caleb Hilyer placed 3rd.  According to AJHS Scholars Bowl Coach Claudette Smith, Arab was the talk of the  convention.
